LDWF Closes Fishing Pier at Lake Bistineau Spillway

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has temporarily closed the fishing pier located at the Lake Bistineau spillway as a safety precaution following a recent inpsection. The pier, located in Bossier Parish, consists of a portion of the old Highway 154 bridge that was abandoned when the Officer Thomas LaValley Memorial Bridge was completed in 2002.
